Rayvon Owen is an American singer and musician. He was born on June 27, 1991. He became well-known after appearing on the fourteenth season of American Idol, where he finished in fourth place. Rayvon Owen also hosted the reality competition show The Sims Spark'd.

Early Life and Education
Rayvon Owen grew up in Richmond, Virginia. He went to Henrico High School and later studied at Belmont University. Before becoming famous, he worked as a singer and also taught others how to sing.
Music Journey
Starting His Career
Rayvon Owen began his music career by releasing his first music video for a song called "Sweatshirt" in November 2014. He also released his first collection of songs, known as an EP, titled Cycles.
Competing on American Idol
In 2015, Rayvon Owen tried out for the fourteenth season of American Idol. He sang "Wide Awake" by Katy Perry for his audition. He made it into the Top 24 and then the Top 12 contestants.
Rayvon became known as the "Twitter King" and "Comeback Kid" on the show. This was because he was in the bottom two or three contestants many times, but fans saved him by voting on Twitter. He was the only person that season to be saved by the "Idol Twitter Fan Save" five times in a row! He ended up finishing in fourth place on the show. After American Idol, he joined the Idols Live Tour, performing for fans across the country.
New Music and Projects
After American Idol, Rayvon Owen continued to make new music. In 2016, he released a song called "Can't Fight It." He also released a music video for this song.
In January 2018, Rayvon Owen was chosen as Elvis Duran's Artist of the Month. This meant he was featured on the TV show Today, where he performed his song "Gold."
