Red Valley/Cove High School is a high school located in Red Valley, Arizona. It also serves students from the nearby community of Cove, Arizona. This school is part of the Red Mesa Unified School District. It was created so students in these areas could attend high school within their home state of Arizona. Before this school opened, students often had to go to schools in New Mexico.

About Red Valley/Cove High School
Red Valley/Cove High School is a public high school. It teaches students from 9th to 12th grade. The school's campus was built in 2006. It officially opened its doors to students in 2007.
School's Beginning and Growth
When the school first opened in 2007, it had 27 students. Three of those students were in the first graduating class that same year. By 2015, the school had a team of dedicated staff. This included five teachers, seven support staff members, a principal, and two bus drivers.
Location and Surroundings
The school is located in a unique spot. It is about 11 miles (18 km) northeast of Lukachukai, Arizona. It is also about 22 miles (35 km) southwest of Shiprock, New Mexico. The school campus is very close to the border between Arizona and New Mexico.
School Spirit and Sports
The sports teams at Red Valley/Cove High School are known as the "Miners." The school colors are black and red. In the 2013–14 school year, the school joined the Arizona Interscholastic Association. This organization helps organize sports and other activities for high schools across Arizona.
