Stephanie M. Cardona, born on June 3, 1992, is a professional wrestler and dancer. She is famous by her wrestling name, Red Velvet. She works for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Ring of Honor (ROH). She is currently the ROH Women's World Television Champion. This is her first time holding this title.

Red Velvet's Wrestling Journey
Starting in Independent Wrestling (2016–2021)
Red Velvet started training to be a wrestler in 2015. She trained at Fighting Evolution Wrestling (FEW) in Miami, Florida. Her first match was on March 24, 2016. She wrestled as Red Velvett and lost her first match.
On August 19, 2016, she won her first championship. This was the FEW Women's Championship. She won it in a match against two other wrestlers. She lost this title on January 21, 2017.
Joining All Elite Wrestling (2020–Present)
Red Velvet made her debut in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) on June 10, 2020. She wrestled on a show called AEW Dark. Later, on June 24, she appeared on AEW Dynamite. Her first win in AEW was on October 13, 2020.
A big moment for Red Velvet was a mixed tag team match. She teamed up with Cody Rhodes to face Jade Cargill and basketball star Shaquille O'Neal. This exciting match happened on March 3, 2021. Red Velvet and Cody Rhodes lost the match.
On March 25, 2021, Red Velvet signed a full-time contract with AEW. She then challenged for two major titles. She faced Serena Deeb for the NWA World Women's Championship. She also challenged Britt Baker for the AEW Women's World Championship. She did not win either of these titles.
Red Velvet also took part in the AEW TBS Championship tournament. She won her first match in the tournament. However, she lost in the next round to Jade Cargill. In April 2022, she joined a wrestling group called The Baddies. This group included Kiera Hogan and Jade Cargill.
She also competed in the AEW Owen Hart Cup tournament. She won her first match but lost in the quarter-finals. Red Velvet was out for a while due to an injury. She returned to AEW shows on November 23, 2022.
Wrestling in Ring of Honor (2023–Present)
In late 2023, Red Velvet started wrestling for Ring of Honor (ROH). She competed in the first-ever ROH Women's World Television Championship tournament. She won her first two matches in the tournament. She made it to the semifinals but did not win the tournament.
On April 13, 2024, Red Velvet challenged Athena for the ROH Women's World Championship. This match happened at AEW Battle of the Belts X. She was not able to win the championship.
A big victory came on July 26, 2024. Red Velvet won the ROH Women's World Television Championship! She defeated Billie Starkz at a show called Death Before Dishonor. This is her first time holding this title.
Red Velvet's Life Outside the Ring
Stephanie Cardona has Colombian family roots. Her father, Prudencio Cardona, was a famous boxing champion. He was a World Flyweight boxing champion. Red Velvet was once engaged to fellow wrestler Wes Brisco. As of July 2022, she is in a relationship with wrestler Chandler Hopkins.
