About Regina Summer Stage

Regina Summer Stage began in 1984. It was started by people who loved community theatre and musical theatre. They wanted to put on great amateur shows in Regina during the summer. The City of Regina Arts Commission helped and supported them.

Since 1985, the group has put on at least one big show every year. Their very first show was a musical called H.M.S. Pinafore. It was a big success! Since then, Regina Summer Stage has created many different events. These include musicals, dramas, and even dinner theatre shows. Today, Regina Summer Stage performs its shows at the Regina Performing Arts Centre.
