Regis Felisberto Masarim, known simply as Regis, is a former professional football player from Brazil. He was born on March 6, 1973. Regis played as a midfielder, helping his team control the middle of the field.

Regis's Football Journey
Regis started his football career in the youth teams of CR Flamengo, a famous club in Brazil. He was a promising young talent.
Playing in Japan and Brazil
In 1992 and 1993, Regis played for Kashima Antlers in Japan on loan. This was a great chance for him to experience football in another country. After that, in 1994, he was loaned to Red Bull Bragantino back in Brazil.
Playing in Portugal and Qatar
Regis then moved to Europe, playing for União da Madeira in Portugal from 1995 to 1997. Later, he played for clubs in Qatar, including Al-Arabi in 1998 and Al-Shamal in 1999.
Returning Home
In 2000, Regis came back to Brazil and played for Mogi Mirim. He finished his professional career playing for his hometown team, SE Veneciano, from 2003 to 2005.
Representing Brazil
Regis also had the honor of playing for his country. In 1989, he was part of the Brazilian squad that competed in the 1989 FIFA U-16 World Championship. This was a big achievement for a young player.
Life After Football
In 2021, Regis joined a special project in his hometown of Nova Venécia. He teamed up with fellow Brazilian football star Richarlison to help find new talented young players. This project aims to give young people a chance to follow their dreams in football, just like Regis did.
