The Famous Adagio in G Minor
Giazotto is very famous for publishing a piece of music called Adagio in G minor. He first said that he had found a small piece of an old music manuscript by Albinoni. He claimed he only arranged this piece, not composed it himself. He said the fragment came from the Saxon State Library.
Later, Giazotto changed his story. He then said that the Adagio in G minor was actually his own original composition. The original manuscript fragment he mentioned has never been shown to the public. Giazotto stated that it only contained the bass line of the music. The Adagio in G minor is copyrighted by Giazotto.
