The Renaissance Nashville Hotel is a tall building in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a hotel where people can stay. The building is 385 feet (about 117 meters) high. It has 31 floors, which is a lot of levels!
This hotel used to be connected to the Nashville Convention Center. That was a big place for meetings. In 2017, the convention center was taken down. A new area called the 5th + Broadway complex is now being built there. The Renaissance Hotel will be part of this new area. It was expected to be finished in spring 2020.

The hotel is great for events too. It has 25 rooms for meetings. These rooms offer a total of 31,000 square feet of space. That's a huge area for parties or conferences!
You can also find a Starbucks coffee shop here. There are two lounges where you can relax. One lounge is very unique. It is in a walkway that goes over Commerce Street. This walkway connects the hotel to a parking garage.
A Bridge with a Story
In 1998, a strong windstorm hit downtown Nashville. This storm caused some damage to the special walkway. But it was fixed and is still used today.

The Renaissance Nashville Hotel is not just for hotel guests. The top 6 floors of the building are used for offices. This part is called CitySpace.

If you work in CitySpace, you use different elevators. These elevators are only for the office floors. You can find them on the third floor of the building.
A Look Back: The Hotel's First Name
The hotel was not always called the Renaissance Nashville Hotel. When it first opened, it was known as the Stouffer Hotel. Later, a company called Marriott bought the Stouffer Corp. That is when the hotel got its new name.
