Reol (れをる, Reworu) is a talented Japanese singer, songwriter, and rapper. She also produces her own music! Reol used to be part of a J-pop group called REOL. Now, she makes music on her own as a solo artist with Victor Entertainment. She started sharing her songs and cover versions online in late 2012 on websites like Nico Nico Douga and YouTube.

Reol's Music Journey

How Reol Started Making Music

Reol began her music career in late 2012. She started by uploading her own songs and cover songs to video sharing sites. These sites included Nico Nico Douga and YouTube.

On August 17, 2014, Reol worked with other artists to release an album. This album was called No Title+. She teamed up with music arranger GigaP, video director Okiku, and art producer Key. They called their group Anyosupenyosuyaya. This album featured virtual singers like Hatsune Miku and GUMI. Later, Reol released her own version of the album, called No Title-, with her own singing.

Joining the Group REOL

On July 29, 2015, Reol released her first solo album, Gokusaishiki. This album was very popular and made it into the top ten on the Japanese music charts. Later that year, Reol, GigaP, and Okiku formed a group called REOL. They signed with a record label called Toy's Factory.

REOL made their first public appearance on August 18. This was in the music video for their song "Give Me a Break Stop Now". Their first group album, 'Sigma', came out on October 19, 2016. It also did very well, reaching number 8 on the weekly album charts.

On October 11, 2017, the group REOL released their Endless EP. This was before they announced they would be breaking up. The EP included their popular 2014 song "LUVORATORRRRRY!". This song featured rapper nqrse. The music video for "LUVORATORRRRRY!" has been watched over 43 million times on YouTube. It became the group's most successful song.

Reol's Solo Career Begins

In January 2018, Reol signed with a new record label, Victor Entertainment. On March 5, she released a music video for her song "エンド". This song was a single for her first solo EP. Reol's first solo EP, called Kyokoushu, came out on March 14.

Reol then released two more singles, "Saisaki" in July and "Sairen" in August. After these, she announced her first solo album, Jijitsujo (事実上). Jijitsujo was released on October 17. A music video for her third single from the album, "Gekihaku", was released on December 19.
