Resorts World Catskills is a large hotel and casino located in Monticello, New York, U.S.. It first opened its doors on February 8, 2018. The company Empire Resorts owns and runs this big resort.

This resort was built where the old Concord Hotel used to be. It has a huge area for games, about 65,000 square feet. Inside, you can find 112 different table games and more than 2,150 slot machines. The resort also has an 18-story hotel with 332 rooms, called suites.

What's in a Name?

The resort was first planned to be called Montreign Resort Casino. But in April 2017, the owners decided to use the name Resorts World instead. They got permission to use this name from Genting Group. This group owns most of Empire Resorts.

More Fun Things to Do

In the middle of 2018, work started on a new area called the Entertainment Village. This building is right next to the main casino. It was designed to have shops, places to eat, and 105 more hotel rooms. This new part of the resort opened in December 2018. It is known as The Alder at Resorts World Catskills.
