Ri Han-Jae (born June 27, 1982) is a former professional footballer. He was born in Kurashiki, Japan. Ri Han-Jae mostly played as a midfielder. He also played for the North Korea national team.
He played for North Korea in the qualifying games for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
Playing Positions
Ri Han-Jae was a very flexible player. His main role on the field was as a defensive midfielder. This means he helped protect his team's goal.
He could also play on the right side of the field. This included playing as a right wing, right midfielder, or sometimes even right back. Earlier in his career, he played as a central attacking midfielder. When he joined FC Gifu, he changed his main position to defensive midfielder.
