One very important site is called El Pla del Nadal. Here, archaeologists found parts of an old building from the Visigothic period. The Visigoths were a group of people who lived in Spain a very long time ago, in the 7th century.
This building was discovered by chance in 1970 while people were working on farms. Scientists have also found items from the Roman and Byzantine times at this site. This means many different groups of people lived here throughout history!
Pallantia or Valencia la Vieja
Another cool archaeological site in Riba-roja de Túria is called Pallantia or Valencia la Vieja (which means Old Valencia in Valencian).
