Richard Hatch was famous for playing Captain Apollo in the first Battlestar Galactica TV show from 1978. He also played Tom Zarek in the newer Battlestar Galactica series that started in 2003.
Richard Hatch was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for his role as Captain Apollo. Early in his career, he won an Obie Award for his acting in the musical PS Your Cat Is Dead.
