Richard Strode (born May 22, 1528 – died August 5, 1581) was an important English politician. He came from Newnham, a place in Devon, England. Richard Strode served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Plympton Erle in 1553 and again in 1559. He also held a special job called escheator for Devon and Cornwall from 1565 to 1566.
