Amateur Career
Before becoming a professional, Richardson Hitchins was an amateur boxer. He represented Haiti at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He was born in Brooklyn, USA, but his parents are from Haiti. He chose to represent Haiti in the Olympics after he didn't qualify for the U.S. Olympic team. In the Olympics, he competed against Gary Antuanne Russell.
Professional Career
After his amateur days, Richardson Hitchins became a professional boxer. This means he fights for money and titles. He is currently signed with Matchroom Boxing, a company that promotes boxing matches. He was previously signed with Mayweather Promotions, which was started by the famous boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr..
