The James and Lois Richmond Center for Visual Arts is an exciting place for art at Western Michigan University. It is located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in the United States. This special center first opened its doors on March 9, 2007. It was officially celebrated on April 12, 2007. The Richmond Center works with Kohrman Hall to host the Frostic School of Art. This is where many art students learn and create.

The Richmond Center for Visual Arts has many cool areas. It features three art galleries on its first floor. There are also two lecture halls for talks and presentations. You can find offices for staff and student advisors here. The WMU Design Center is also part of the building. It includes a classroom and studio space for graphic design. There is even a small computer lab and a print center for students.
