Lakes and Water Fun
The Aquadrome is famous for its two beautiful lakes. These lakes weren't always here! They were created a long time ago when gravel was dug out to help build the original Wembley Stadium.

The park has clear natural boundaries. To the north, you'll find the River Colne. The Grand Union Canal runs along its east and south sides. To the west, it borders the peaceful Stocker's Lake nature reserve.

In July 2009, Rickmansworth Aquadrome received a special award called the Green Flag Award. This award is given to parks and open spaces that meet very high standards. It means the Aquadrome is well-managed, clean, safe, and a welcoming place for everyone.
Getting There
You can easily get to Rickmansworth Aquadrome by car. The main entrance for vehicles is from Harefield Road, by turning onto Frogmoor Lane.
