Omorinsola Omowunmi Ajike Babajide, known as Rinsola Babajide, is a professional footballer. She was born on June 17, 1998. Rinsola plays as a winger for AS Roma.

She was born in England and played for England's youth teams up to the under-21 level. Later, she decided to play for Nigeria. She made her first senior appearance for Nigeria in October 2023. Before joining AS Roma, she played for clubs like Liverpool and Millwall Lionesses.

Club Career Highlights

Starting at Crystal Palace

Rinsola Babajide began her football journey at Crystal Palace. She played for the club during the 2014–15 season. In that season, she played in 9 games and scored 2 goals. She also played 2 games for the reserve team.

Her first game for Crystal Palace was a 2–0 win against Denham United on August 24, 2014. She scored her first goal for the team on October 5, 2014, in a 3–3 draw against Cambridge United.

Moving to Millwall Lionesses

In January 2015, Rinsola joined Millwall Lionesses. She made her first professional appearance for them on March 18. This game was against the London Bees in a FA WSL match, which ended in a draw.

Playing for Watford

After playing for Real Betis for 18 months, Rinsola joined UDG Tenerife. This move happened on July 3, 2023. She signed a two-year contract with the Liga F team.

Representing England

In August 2018, Rinsola was part of the England U20s squad. This team won the bronze medal at the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. In September 2020, she was invited to a training camp for the senior England team.

Playing for Nigeria

Because her parents are Nigerian, Rinsola could also play for Nigeria. She was first called up to the Nigerian team in October 2023. She made her debut on October 25, 2023. She started in a 1–1 draw against Ethiopia during the 2024 Olympic qualifying games.
