Rita Vinieris (born in 1964) is a famous Canadian fashion designer. She is well-known for her beautiful wedding dress collections, called RIVINI and Alyne. Rita Vinieris also started designing evening wear in 2013.

Growing Up and Learning Fashion

Rita Vinieris was born and grew up in Canada. Her parents came from Greece. She went to the University of Toronto to study Economics. However, she later decided to follow her passion for fashion. She then studied fashion design at the International Academy of Design.

Starting Her Fashion Journey

Rita Vinieris worked as a designer at a clothing store for six years. After that, she worked on different design projects. She designed clothes for various companies and even created evening gowns for private clients.

In 1995, Rita started designing wedding dresses. She had helped some friends choose their wedding gowns. This inspired her to create her own collection. She named her first wedding dress line "Rivini."

Designing Beautiful Collections

Later, Rita Vinieris added another wedding dress line called Alyne. In 2013, she decided to expand her designs. She started creating elegant evening wear. Her first evening wear collection was shown at the Baryshnikov Arts Center.

By 2014, her Rivini wedding dresses were sold in many bridal stores across the United States. In 2015, Rita Vinieris held a special fashion show. It took place on the roof garden of Carnegie Hall, a famous building in New York City.
