The River Pol, also known as the Polperro River, is a small river in southeastern Cornwall, England. It is a short but important river for the local area.
The river starts near the village of Pelynt. From there, it flows through a steep valley. It then passes through the small area called Crumplehorn. Finally, the river reaches the famous fishing village of Polperro.
In Polperro, the River Pol flows right through the heart of the village. It goes past many buildings and under several bridges. Eventually, it reaches the harbour and flows into the sea. This journey is about 6.4 kilometers (4 miles) long.
