Robbie Neale was a Canadian ice hockey player. He was born on April 17, 1953, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Robbie played as a forward and was known for his scoring ability. He played in a professional league called the WHA for 59 games.

Robbie Neale's Hockey Journey

Robbie Neale had an exciting career playing ice hockey. He started in junior leagues and then moved on to play professionally. His journey took him to different teams and leagues across North America.

Early Days in Junior Hockey

Before turning professional, Robbie played for the Brandon Wheat Kings in the WCHL. This was a major junior league where young players developed their skills.

After his time in junior hockey, Robbie Neale was drafted by two professional teams in 1973. The Detroit Red Wings picked him for the NHL draft. The Cleveland Crusaders chose him for the WHA draft. He decided to play in the WHA.

  • Robbie joined the Cleveland Crusaders for the 1973–74 season. He played 43 games, scoring 8 goals and adding 9 assists.
  • In the 1974–75 season, he played a few more games for the Crusaders.
  • Later that season, he moved to the Winnipeg Jets, another team in the WHA. The WHA was a big professional league that competed with the NHL during the 1970s.

Other Professional Teams

Besides the WHA, Robbie also played in other leagues.
