Robert Staunton Naish (born April 23, 1963, in La Jolla, San Diego, California) is an American athlete. He is famous for winning 24 World Championship Windsurfing titles. Robby is also seen as a pioneer in sports like kiteboarding and standup paddleboarding. This means he was one of the first and most important people to help these sports grow.
In 1976, Robby Naish won his first world championship in windsurfing. He was only 13 years old at the time, and the competition was held in the Bahamas. Since then, he has been featured in many films, videos, news stories, and articles. In 1996, Naish started his own company, Naish Sails Hawaii. This company makes and sells equipment for various water sports. In 2023, the part of his business that made boards was sold to another company called Kubus Sports.
