Sir Robert Paul Cohan CBE (27 March 1925 – January 2021) was an American-born British dancer and choreographer. He was the founding artistic director of The Place, London Contemporary Dance School, and London Contemporary Dance Theatre (LCDT), which he directed for 20 years. He was born in New York City. He worked with Martha Graham.
He was knighted in the 2019 Birthday Honours for services to dance.
Cohan died in January 2021, aged 95.
