Early Life and Education

Robert Graham was born in 1744. He was a very bright student. He attended Trinity College, Cambridge, which is a famous university in England. At Trinity College, he was a "fellow," which means he was a senior member, often a teacher or researcher.

After his university studies, Robert Graham decided to become a lawyer. He joined the Inner Temple, which is one of the four special societies in London where lawyers are trained. This was an important step for anyone wanting to work in law in England.

Career as a Judge

Robert Graham became a successful lawyer and then a judge. In 1793, he was chosen to be the attorney-general for George, Prince of Wales. This was a very important job, as he was the chief legal advisor to the future king of England.

In 1800, Robert Graham received a special honor: he was knighted. This meant he was given the title "Sir" by the king, recognizing his achievements and service to the country. As a judge, he helped make sure that laws were followed fairly and that justice was served.
