Robert Henry Scarborough Jr. (March 12, 1923 – March 20, 2020) was an important leader in the United States Coast Guard. He reached the high rank of vice admiral. From 1978 to 1982, he served as the 13th Vice Commandant. This role is like being the second-in-command of the entire Coast Guard.
