About Robin Koontz
Early Life and Education
Robin Koontz was born in 1954. She grew up in two different states: Maryland and Alabama. Later, she studied art at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland, from 1973 to 1974. Today, she lives in Oregon.
Helping Other Writers
Robin Koontz also helped other writers and illustrators. She was a leader for the Oregon chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She held this role from 1994 until 2012. This group helps people who want to write or draw books for children.
