Rochon Sands (pronounced "ROH-shun") is a special type of town called a summer village. It's located right on Buffalo Lake in the middle of Alberta, Canada. Just south of the village, you'll find Rochon Sands Provincial Park. Both the village and the park got their names from the Rochon family, who owned the land a long time ago, in the early 1900s.
