Rodan is a giant, made-up monster from Japan. He stars in movies, first appearing in his own film, Rodan, in 1956. This movie was made by Toho Studios. Later, Rodan also showed up in many Godzilla films. He looks like a huge pterosaur, a type of flying dinosaur. Rodan can create powerful sonic booms when he flies fast. These booms can destroy things in his path.
