Ronald Lewis (born July 27, 1984) is an American professional basketball player. He plays for SLUC Nancy Basket in France. Before playing professionally, he was a star player for college teams like The Ohio State University Buckeyes and the Bowling Green Falcons.

College Basketball Career

Ron Lewis had a fantastic college basketball career. He scored a total of 1,730 points, grabbed 534 rebounds, and made 259 assists. He was also very good at shooting free throws, making 80% of them. He could even shoot three-pointers from far away, like NBA players!

In 2006, Ron scored his highest college points in one game: 30 points against North Carolina. He was also known for playing really well in important moments. One of his most memorable games was in the NCAA Tournament against Xavier. Even though he was a great college player, no NBA team picked him in the 2007 NBA draft.

Professional Basketball Journey

After college, Ron Lewis started his professional basketball career in Europe. He played for 14 years in different countries. His first professional team was Spotter Leuven in Belgium during the 2007–2008 season. He was even named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in one round of the Belgian competition that year. He was also the third-best scorer in the league, averaging 17.8 points per game.

After Belgium, Ron played for Ironi Nahariya in Israel during the 2008–2009 season. He then joined ČEZ Basketball Nymburk and Dexia Mons-Hainaut. With Dexia Mons-Hainaut, Ron helped his team win the Belgium Cup Tournament. In August 2011, he signed with Hapoel Holon in Israel.

Ron Lewis joined SLUC Nancy Basket in August 2019, where he continues to play professional basketball.
