Ronaldo Cunha Lima (born March 18, 1936 – died July 7, 2012) was a Brazilian poet and politician. He was a leader who served as the governor of Paraíba, a state in Brazil, from 1991 to 1994.

Early Life and Education
Ronaldo Cunha Lima was born on March 18, 1936, in Guarabira, a city in Paraíba. When he was young, his family moved to Campina Grande, which is the second largest city in Paraíba.
He studied law at the Federal University of Paraíba. While at the university, he was the Vice President of a student group. This group was called Centro Estudantil Campinense and focused on political ideas.

A Notable Incident as Governor
During his time as governor, a well-known event took place. It involved a disagreement with the former governor, Tarcísio Burity. Mr. Burity had made accusations about Cunha Lima's son, Cássio Cunha Lima. These accusations were about money meant for drought relief.
On November 5, 1993, Governor Cunha Lima had a serious conflict with former governor Burity in João Pessoa. After this incident, Mr. Burity needed time to recover.
Later Life and Passing
Ronaldo Cunha Lima passed away on July 7, 2012. He was 76 years old. He died at his family's home in João Pessoa, Brazil. His death was due to health problems related to lung cancer.
A public viewing was held for him at the Palácio da Redenção. He was buried in the Monte Santo cemetery. His son, Senator Cássio Cunha Lima, was among those who survived him.
