Rosa U. Gill (born June 5, 1943) is a former member of the North Carolina House of Representatives. She is part of the Democratic Party. Rosa Gill represented the 33rd district in North Carolina. This district includes parts of eastern Wake County. She served in this role from 2009 until January 1, 2025.

Rosa Gill's Public Service Career
Rosa Gill has a long history of serving her community. Before becoming a state representative, she was a dedicated mathematics teacher. She taught in the Wake County Public School System for many years.
Serving on the School Board
In 1999, Rosa Gill was elected to the Wake County School Board. This board helps make important decisions for local schools. She served on the school board for ten years, until 2009.
Becoming a State Representative
In 2009, a change happened in North Carolina politics. State Representative Dan Blue moved to the Senate. Rosa Gill was then chosen to take his place in the House of Representatives. She began her service in the House on June 18, 2009. She was re-elected to her seat seven times. Her last re-election was in 2022. She served until the end of her term in early 2025.
