Roseway is a neighborhood located in the Northeast part of Portland, Oregon. It shares its borders with several other neighborhoods. To the north and west, you'll find Cully. Sumner is to the northeast. On the east and south, Roseway borders Madison South. Finally, Rose City Park is to the west.

Exploring Roseway Parks
Roseway is home to two fun parks where people can relax and play. These are Wellington Park and Glenhaven Park.
Wellington Park
Wellington Park was created in 1941. It's a great spot for a quiet break.
Glenhaven Park
Glenhaven Park is much larger than Wellington Park. It was opened in 1948. This park has many features for everyone to enjoy.
Activities at Glenhaven Park
Glenhaven Park offers a variety of activities. You can find a cool skatepark here. There's also a playground for younger kids. Sports lovers can use the fields for soccer, baseball, and softball. Tennis courts are available too. The park also has a special play area for kids with disabilities. You'll find restrooms, picnic tables, and a wading pool for hot days.
Education and Learning in Roseway
The Roseway neighborhood has excellent schools and a library for students and families.
Local Schools
There are three public schools in or very close to Roseway. These schools serve different age groups.
- Scott School teaches students from kindergarten to 5th grade (K-5).
- Roseway Heights School is for middle schoolers, from 6th to 8th grade.
- McDaniel High School is where older students attend, from 9th to 12th grade.
Gregory Heights Library
The Gregory Heights branch of the Multnomah County Library is also in the area. It's a great place to find books, study, and learn new things. You can find it at NE 79th and Sandy.
