Ross Haslam was born in Sheffield, England. This was on October 2, 1997. He started diving when he was just 6 years old. Ross also has a brother named Jack, who is also a diver.

Ross's Diving Career

Ross Haslam began his senior diving career early. In 2012, he won his first individual national medal. This was a bronze in the 10-metre platform event. It happened at the British National Cup. In the same year, he started representing Great Britain. He competed in the European Junior Championships.

European Games Success

In 2015, Ross competed in the first-ever 2015 European Games. These games were held in Baku. The diving events there were only for junior divers. Ross won a silver medal in the men's synchronised 3-metre springboard. He competed with his diving partner, James Heatly.

Recent Achievements

May 2023 was a great month for Ross. He won two titles at the British Diving Championships. He became the champion in both the 1-metre springboard and the 3-metre synchronised springboard events.

One month later, he competed at the 2023 European Diving Championships. These championships were part of the 2023 European Games. They were held in Rzeszów, Poland. Ross won a gold medal in the 1-metre springboard event. He also competed in the 3-metre springboard, finishing fourth. In the synchronised 3-metre springboard, he teamed up with James Heatly again. They finished fourth, just missing a bronze medal by less than two points.
