History of Round Grove
Round Grove got its name from a "large round grove" of trees that was close to where the community first started. Imagine a big, circular group of trees!
A post office was opened in Round Grove in 1839. This was a very important place for people to send and receive letters and packages. The post office served the community for many years, until it closed down in 1973.
