History of Royal
The community of Royal once had its own post office. This post office first opened its doors in 1892. It served as an important place for people to send and receive mail. However, the post office did not stay open forever. It closed down in 1916, after operating for 24 years. It is not known why the name "Royal" was chosen for this community.
