Claude Marrow Jr., born on August 15, 1978, is an American professional wrestler known by his wrestling name, Ruckus. He has wrestled for many groups like Combat Zone Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and Chikara. Ruckus is also part of a wrestling team called The Blackout, or BLKOUT, with other wrestlers like Eddie Kingston and Sabian.

Ruckus's Wrestling Journey

Ruckus started training to be a wrestler in September 1998. He had previously wrestled in his backyard with a group called Hardcore Championship Wrestling. His first professional wrestling match was on April 18, 1999, against Chad Austin for the Mid-Eastern Wrestling Federation (MEWF).

Joining Combat Zone Wrestling

Ruckus and another wrestler, The Hurricane Kidd, joined Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) around 2001. The owner, John Zandig, was very impressed by their skills. When Ruckus first started in CZW, he weighed almost 300 pounds. He later lost over 75 pounds.

Ruckus became known for his amazing high-flying moves, which were unusual for someone his size. He won his first title, the CZW World Junior Heavyweight Championship, on December 2, 2001. He lost it shortly after but won it back on January 18, 2003.

Teaming Up and Rivalries

During his second time as Junior Heavyweight Champion, Ruckus teamed up with Sonjay Dutt. They wrestled many matches together. However, Ruckus became jealous of Sonjay and turned against him. This led to a big match where Sonjay won the Junior Heavyweight Championship.

In the early 2000s, Ruckus traveled to Japan with a wrestling team called CZW Warriors. He wrestled for Big Japan Pro Wrestling and faced many different wrestlers. He even won the BJW Junior Heavyweight Championship in December 2001.

Forming The Blackout

In 2004, Ruckus and Robbie Mireno started a new wrestling team called The Blackout (The BLKOUT). Sabian and Joker also joined the team. They had a big rivalry with another wrestler named Chri$ Ca$h. Later, Eddie Kingston also became part of The Blackout.

On June 12, 2004, Ruckus and Sabian won the CZW World Tag Team Championship. They lost the title later that year in a special match called "Cage of Death VI".

Winning the CZW World Heavyweight Title

On February 5, 2005, Ruckus defeated Messiah to win the CZW World Heavyweight Championship. He held this important title for a long time, defending it against many wrestlers. Later in 2005, The Blackout started a rivalry with The Kings of Wrestling and Super Dragon. Ruckus successfully defended his title against Claudio Castagnoli. However, at the next show, he lost the title to Super Dragon.

Ruckus, Sabian, and Kingston won a big team match against the Kings and Super Dragon in January 2006. At the next CZW show, Ruckus won the World Championship back. His teammates, Joker and Eddie Kingston, also won the tag team title.

Best of the Best Tournament

On May 13, 2006, Ruckus won the Best of the Best tournament. This is a special competition where wrestlers show off their skills. He defeated Sabian, Claudio Castagnoli, and Austin Aries in the final match. After winning, Ruckus lost his championship to Chris Hero.

In August 2006, Eddie Kingston left The Blackout. Ruckus and Joker became the new tag team champions. When Joker also left CZW, The Blackout lost their tag team title. However, Ruckus and Ricky Reyes helped Eddie Kingston win the World Championship back, and he rejoined the team.

On July 14, 2007, Ruckus surprised everyone by beating the CZW champion, Justice Pain, for the CZW World Heavyweight Championship again. This made him a three-time champion! Later that night, Ruckus and Sabian celebrated with Joker, who won the Best of the Best trophy. On December 8, 2007, Ruckus lost his CZW World Heavyweight Title to Nick Gage.

Ring of Honor and Other Promotions

Ruckus made his debut in Ring of Honor on August 25, 2007. He joined a team called "The Vulture Squad" and won his first match. On July 26, 2008, Ruckus won the first-ever "Honor Rumble" match. This win earned him a chance to wrestle for the title against Nigel McGuinness, but McGuinness kept his championship.

Ruckus has wrestled in many countries, including England, Mexico, Japan, and Germany. He also appeared in episodes of MTV's Wrestling Society X in 2006, where he teamed up with Babi Slymm.

On April 21, 2007, Ruckus and Sabian won the Maryland Championship Wrestling Tag Team Title. On May 19, 2007, Ruckus won the German Wrestling Promotion's World Heavyweight Championship in Germany. On February 21, 2009, he won the Maryland Championship Heavyweight title from Christian York in a special cage match. He held that title until April 25, 2014.
