When his father, King Leil, was older, the kingdom became unstable. A civil war started across the land. Rud Hud Hudibras became king after his father died. He ruled for 39 years. He successfully ended the civil war and brought peace back to the kingdom.
During his time as king, he founded a city called Kaerreint. Later, a group called the Angles renamed it Canterbury. He is also said to have started Kaerguenit, which is now known as Winchester. He also built Paladur Castle, which is now Shaftesbury. His son, Bladud, became king after him.
