Rodolfo "Rudy" Fernández y Farrés (born on April 4, 1985, in Mallorca, Spain) is a famous Spanish basketball player. He stands tall at 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 meters). Rudy is also a key member of the Spanish national team, representing his country in many big tournaments.

His family loves basketball! His father was also a professional basketball player. Rudy started his journey in the sport with the Joventut Badalona team in Spain's top league, the ACB. He played there from 2003 to 2008, showing off his amazing skills.

Rudy's NBA Adventure

In 2008, Rudy made a big move. He left Joventut Badalona to play for the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA league in the United States. His very first game in the NBA was special because he played against his friend, Pau Gasol, another famous Spanish basketball star.

Rudy's second year in the NBA was a bit tough. He had some back problems that caused pain in his leg. He needed to take time off to get better.

After his time in the NBA, Rudy joined other great teams. He played for Real Madrid in 2011. He also had a short time with the Denver Nuggets. On July 4, 2012, Rudy signed a new three-year deal to return to Real Madrid, where he continued to play at a very high level.
