The Story of Nah-tee

The main character is a young Native American girl named Nah-tee. She is only about four years old. One day, Nah-tee is at her family's day-camp. A stranger visits the camp, and Nah-tee gets scared. She decides to run away.

While she is on her own, Nah-tee meets a boy named Moyo. Moyo is a Navajo shepherd boy. He agrees to help Nah-tee find her family. Together, they go on many adventures.

Their journey leads them to a big regional event called a powwow. A powwow is a special gathering where Native American people meet. They celebrate their culture with dancing, singing, and storytelling. At this large powwow, Nah-tee finally finds her family again.
