Rush Lake is a stunning high-altitude lake located in Pakistan. It sits very high up in the mountains, making it one of the highest alpine lakes in the entire world! The lake is found near a peak called Rush Pari Peak, which is also very tall.
This amazing lake is over 4,694 metres (15,400 ft) (about 15,400 feet) above sea level. Imagine how high that is! It's like being on top of many skyscrapers stacked together.
Where is Rush Lake Located?
Rush Lake is in Pakistan, a country in Asia. It is about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) north of two other famous mountains: Miar Peak and Spantik. Spantik is also known as Golden Peak because of its beautiful color.
These mountains and the lake are all part of the Nagar valley. This area is known for its incredible natural beauty and towering peaks.
How to Reach Rush Lake?
Getting to Rush Lake is an adventure! You can reach it by trekking through the mountains. Trekkers usually start their journey from places like Nagar and Hopar.
The path to the lake involves walking over glaciers. These are like slow-moving rivers of ice. You might cross the Hopar Glacier (also called Bualtar Glacier) and the Miar Glacier. The Miar Glacier starts from Miar and Phuparash peaks.
