Ruth Díaz Muriedas (born January 25, 1975) is a Spanish actress. She became very well known for her amazing performance in the 2016 movie The Fury of a Patient Man.
About Ruth Díaz
Ruth Díaz Muriedas was born in Reinosa, Spain, on January 25, 1975. When she was 17, she started acting in plays. She was especially good in a play called Fortunata y Jacinta in Madrid in 1993. Ruth later studied acting at the RESAD school.
Her first TV role was in a police show called El comisario in 1999. She then made her first movie in 2001, called Killer Housewives. After that, she appeared in other films like Para entrar a vivir
and El calentito.Ruth also had roles in many TV shows. These include Al salir de clase (2001), Hospital Central (2003), and Amar en tiempos revueltos (2009). She also appeared in Los misterios de Laura (2010) and Cuéntame (2012).
After a short break from acting, Ruth returned to movies. She directed her first short film, Porsiemprejamón, in 2013. In 2016, she played the role of Ana in The Fury of a Patient Man. This role brought her a lot of attention and awards. In 2018, she starred as Mercedes Carrillo in the third season of the TV series Locked Up. She also played Laura in the show El pueblo.
