Ryohei Koike was born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, on August 24, 1980. After finishing high school, he joined a professional football team.
Joining Oita Trinita
In 1999, Ryohei Koike became part of Oita Trinita. This team had just moved up to the J2 League, which is a professional football league in Japan.
His Only Professional Game
On May 22, 1999, Koike played his first and only professional game. He entered the match as a substitute midfielder. This happened in the 82nd minute of a game against Sagan Tosu.
He played for Oita Trinita for two seasons. At the end of the 2000 season, he retired from playing professional football.
