Rúaidhrí Conroy (born November 30, 1979, in Dublin, Ireland) is a talented Irish actor. His father, Brendan Conroy, is also an actor. Rúaidhrí started acting at a young age and quickly became known for his roles in movies and plays.
One of his first big roles was as Tito in the 1992 film Into the West. For this role, he won a special award called the Young Artist Award. This award was for outstanding young actors in a family foreign film.
In 1998, Rúaidhrí received another important award, the Theatre World Award. He earned this for his amazing performance in Martin McDonagh's play, The Cripple of Inishmaan.
Rúaidhrí also appeared in another work by Martin McDonagh, a short film called Six Shooter. This film won an Academy Award for Live Action Short Film in 2006. Rúaidhrí was invited to the big Academy Awards ceremony, but he could not go. He had a problem with his passport when he arrived, so he had to return home.
