Saban's Around the World in Eighty Dreams (known as Les Aventures de Carlos in French) is an exciting animated TV show from France. It first aired on November 13, 1992, on a channel called Canal+. This series was made by Saban International Paris and TF1, with help from Canal+.
The show is about a fun character named Carlos and his talking parrot, Oscar. They live on a sunny tropical island with three adopted children. Carlos loves to tell the children incredible stories about how he met famous people from history. The kids, though, don't always believe him!
To prove his stories are true, Carlos gets help from Grandma Tadpole. She lives on the island's beach and has a special way to travel through time. Together with the children, they jump back in time to meet historical figures and prove Carlos's amazing tales. When the group gets into trouble, Carlos has a secret power: he can transform into an ox to help them!
