Saban's Adventures of Oliver Twist (also known as Oliver Twist) is a fun animated show from France and the United States. It was made by Saban Entertainment. The show first aired in 1996 and had 52 episodes.
This series is based on the famous book Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. But here's a cool twist: most of the characters are talking animals! Sometimes, you'll see humans too.

The Good Guys
- Oliver Twist (voiced by Mona Marshall) - He's a kind dog. Oliver is an orphan who ran away from a tough workhouse. He wants to earn the trust of his friends, Dodger and Charlie. Most importantly, he hopes to find his mother, who he got separated from.
- Artful Dodger (voiced by Ian Hawk) - A clever rabbit. Dodger is full of smart ideas and always knows a trick or two.
- Charlie Bates (voiced by Anthony Mozdy) - A funny pig. Charlie is usually relaxed, but he can be clumsy. He also loves food a lot!
- Nancy (voiced by Mona Marshall) - A friendly she-cat. Nancy is very polite and kind. She dreams of becoming a famous actress. She stays with Fagin's group of friends.
- Princess Annushka (voiced by Barbara Goodson) - A dog. She is a princess from Russia who ran away. She doesn't always care much for the boys, but she also stays with Fagin's group.
- Fagin (voiced by Bob MacGarva) - A smart red fox. Fagin is the leader of a group of young friends.
The Not-So-Good Guys
- Mr. Bumble - A big wolf. He is the boss of the workhouse where Oliver used to live. Mr. Bumble often sends his two cat helpers, Scratch and Sniff, to catch Oliver. They also try to catch Oliver's friends.
- Bill Sykes - A strong brown bear. Bill is a rough and tough character. He tries to get money by scaring people and making threats.
What's the Story About?
The show follows Oliver's adventures after he escapes from the workhouse. He meets new friends and tries to find his family.
Oliver runs away from the orphan house. Soon, he meets Dodger, and they become friends. Dodger takes Oliver to Fagin's hideout. Fagin leads a small group of friends. Oliver needs to prove he belongs with them. Meanwhile, Mr. Bumble, the workhouse master, will do anything to bring Oliver back.
Oliver, Dodger, and Charlie go on many adventures. Their main goal is to find Oliver's mother.
