Exploring Sabero's History
Sabero is home to an important place called the Castile and León Museum of Metallurgy and Mining. Its Spanish name is Museo de la Siderurgia y de la Minería de Castilla y León. This museum teaches visitors all about how metals were made and how mining worked in the past.
The museum opened its doors on July 3, 2008. Juan Vicente Herrera Campo, who was the president of Castile and León at that time, helped open it. The museum helps people understand the industrial history of the region.
