Sachini Nipunsala, born on November 7, 1992, is a well-known television presenter and dancer from Sri Lanka. She started her career as a child artist and grew up to become a very popular TV host. Many people know her from hosting famous shows like the reality competition Derana Little Star and the music talk show Champions Stars.

About Sachini Nipunsala
Early Life and Education
Sachini Nipunsala was born on November 7, 1992, in Boralesgamuwa, Sri Lanka. She is the only child in her family. Her father, Ajith Lionel, is a businessman, and her mother, Shyamalee Pieris, is a homemaker.
Sachini went to Vidayakara Balika Vidyalaya in Maharagama from 1998 to 2008. During her time there, she was very active in school plays and art events. She also often worked as an announcer for many school programs.
In 2009, she moved to Visakha Vidyalaya in Colombo. She finished her advanced level studies there in 2011. Later, in 2016, she earned a special degree in Marketing Management from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura. She graduated with first-class honors.
Family Life
Sachini Nipunsala is married to Isuru Shanaka Randeniya. Their wedding took place on March 13, 2020. Isuru works as a business analyst.
Sachini's Career Journey
Starting as a Child Artist
Sachini began her journey in television by appearing in many children's programs. These shows were on different TV channels. Some of the programs she was part of include Hapan Padura, Athuru Mithuru, and Punchi Panchi. She also appeared as a backup artist in Ransith Yaya.
Becoming a TV Presenter
In 2006, Sachini started her professional career as a television presenter at TV Derana. She hosted many children's shows there, such as Amuthu Muthu, Lassana Ahasa, and Ammai Mamai.
She later became the main presenter for Derana Little Star season 2. She hosted this popular reality show with Madhava Wijesinghe. Together, they presented all 10 seasons of the show until 2020. Since 2014, she has also been a co-presenter for the music chat program Derana Champions Stars Unlimited. She hosted this show with Wijesinghe and Peshala Manoj.
Besides these popular shows, Sachini also hosted the bridal show Vivaha from 2016 to 2017. She was also the Red Carpet Host for several seasons of the Derana Film Awards, Derana Dream Star, and Derana City of Dance. She also hosted the Sumathi Awards for four years.
Dancing Career and Studio Steps
Apart from being a famous TV presenter, Sachini is also a talented dancer. Many consider her one of the best dancers in Sri Lanka. In 2017, she gained a lot of attention for her dance cover of the song Visekari. This video received over 3 million views on YouTube.
Because of this popularity, she started her own YouTube channel. On her channel, she shares more dance covers, including songs like Sepalikawo, Sandawan Ruwin, and Sitha Umathu Wela. On September 9, 2018, she led a Bollywood dancing workshop in Nugegoda. In 2019, she opened her own dance studio called "Studio Steps." Here, she teaches Bollywood dancing to others.
Recent Achievements
In 2021, Sachini was featured in the Raffealla Fernando Celebrity Calendar. Being included in this calendar is considered a great honor for a Sri Lankan celebrity. In the same year, she also made a small appearance in the TV soap opera Sangeethe.
