About Sadiq Muhammad Khan IV
Sadiq Muhammad Khan Bahadur was born in 1862. He became the Nawab of Bahawalpur on March 25, 1866. This happened after his father, Mohammad Bahawal Khan IV, passed away.
Becoming a Ruler
Since Sadiq Muhammad Khan IV was still very young when he became Nawab, the British Empire helped manage the region for a while. They looked after things until he was old enough to rule on his own. He was given full ruling powers at Derawar Fort on November 28, 1879.
Building Projects
During his time as ruler, Sadiq Muhammad Khan IV ordered the construction of many important buildings in Bahawalpur. These included the Daulat Khana, the Sadiq Garh Palace, the beautiful Noor Mahal, and the Gulzar Mahal. These buildings helped make Bahawalpur a grander place.
