Sakuragichō Station

Sakuragichō Station (桜木町駅, さくらぎちょうえき) is a busy train station located in Naka-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It is an important hub for both the JR East lines and the Yokohama Municipal Subway. This station helps thousands of people travel around Yokohama every day.

What Trains Use Sakuragichō Station?

Sakuragichō Station is served by two main railway companies. Each company has different train lines that stop here, connecting you to many parts of Yokohama and beyond.

JR East Lines

The JR East operates a major line through Sakuragichō.

Negishi Line (Keihin-Tōhoku Line)

• This line is part of the larger Keihin-Tōhoku Line.
• You can catch both Rapid and Local trains here.
• The stations next to Sakuragichō on this line are Yokohama and Kannai.

Yokohama Municipal Subway Lines

The Yokohama Municipal Subway also has a line that stops at Sakuragichō.
