Early Life and Education

Saleem Safi was born on March 7, 1968. He comes from the Mulagore tribe in the Mardan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. He studied at the University of Peshawar. Today, he lives and works in Islamabad.

Between 2007 and 2008, he also hosted a show called Siyasat on the Pashto TV channel Khyber.

At the end of 2008, he joined Jang Media Group and Geo TV. He became an anchor, writer, and analyst. He hosts the show Jirga and writes articles with the same name for The News and Jang. His TV shows and documentaries are watched by many people across the country.

He has interviewed many important leaders from Pakistan and other countries. These include Nawaz Sharif, Pervez Musharraf, Asif Ali Zardari, and Hamid Karzai. He has also spoken with other political and religious leaders.
