Sally Ann Gonzales (born October 2, 1957) is an American politician. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Since January 9, 2023, she has been a State Senator for District 20 in Arizona.
Before her current role, she was a Senator for District 3 from 2019 to 2023. She also served in the Arizona House of Representatives. She represented District 3 from 2013 to 2019. Earlier, she served in the District 27 seat from 2011 to 2013. She also represented the District 20 seat from 1997 to 2001.

Her Education
Sally Ann Gonzales went to college to become a teacher. She earned her first degree, a Bachelor of Arts, in elementary education from Arizona State University. Later, she continued her studies and received a Master of Arts degree in multicultural education from the University of Arizona.
Her Political Career
Sally Ann Gonzales has served in the Arizona Legislature for many years. She has been elected by the people of Arizona to represent them in both the State House of Representatives and the State Senate.
Serving in the Arizona House of Representatives
Sally Ann Gonzales first served in the Arizona House of Representatives. She represented District 20 from 1997 to 2001. After some time, she returned to the House. She represented District 27 from 2011 to 2013. Then, she represented District 3 from 2013 to 2019. During these years, she worked on laws and issues important to her community.
Moving to the Arizona State Senate
In 2019, Sally Ann Gonzales was elected to the Arizona State Senate. She represented District 3 as a State Senator until 2023. In this role, she continued to work on important state matters.
